Your Response Is a Map: wrap 2025 with clarity, step into 2026 with ease

Open journal with simple icons for body, emotion, behaviour and life; warm mug and candle—your response is a map.

My week felt lively—client work, sweet catch-ups with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and a few little miracles. I followed some spontaneous nudges too: a candle-lit sitar evening and the final night of the London Jazz Festival—Japanese jazz that was outrageously inspiring.

With Thanksgiving happening on the other side of the world and the festive season rolling in here, it really feels like we’re wrapping up 2025. I’m sitting with a gentle reflection: what have I completed, what still needs carrying out, and what is ready to be let go—so I can throw a clear intention into 2026? More than anything, I’m paying attention to my responses—in my body, emotions, behaviour, and the way life answers me—because when I notice a response, I know exactly where I am right now, and the next kind step becomes clear.

What “response” means (your live dashboard)

Body response
Pain or symptoms like mouth ulcer, body aches, headache, sneezy/runny nose.
Likely meaning: load is high (stress/immune/tension).
Map it: where is it, since when, what eases/irritates? → If you feel tight/wired, start with YIN (calm).

Emotional response
Anxious (about what?), irritated (with whom/what need?), overwhelmed, annoyed by what people say.
Map it: name one feeling + the trigger: “I feel ___ about ___.”YANG if flat/foggy; YIN if agitated.

Behaviour response
Overworking, over-doing, ignoring/avoiding (not allowing yourself to feel/ask/rest).
Map it: What am I trying not to feel? What do I need? → Often YIN first (safety), then one small YANG step (action).

Life response
“I welcome what’s happening,” or “I’m in conflict—don’t like what’s happening.”
Mythic/mystical hints: repeating themes, dreams, numbers, songs, synchronicities.
Map it: If this were a symbol, what might it ask me to release/receive?

None of these are good or bad. They’re information—your compass.

The 4-step response flow (simple & doable)

  1. Aware — notice one signal.
Say: “Right now I feel ___ and my body is ___.”

  2. Reflect — learn (AM/PM).
What helped? What didn’t? What pattern is emerging?

  3. Monitor — traffic lights.
Green steady • Amber edgy/flat • Red overloaded.

  4. Adjust / Take action

    • Wired/tight → YIN (calm)

    • Flat/foggy → YANG (lift)

Two ways we work together

YIN — calm your system (parasympathetic)

Your make-space mode: breath deepens, muscles soften, digestion steadies, sleep restores.
In session I may blend: Reiki, Craniosacral, Facial & Foot Reflexology, gentle Emotion Code, ear points/ear beads (Shen Men/Autonomic).
You leave with: a quieter nervous system + 1–2 micro-practices you’ll actually do.

YANG — lift mind & body (clean energy, direction)

Clarity with momentum: mood lifts, circulation warms, next steps feel clear.
In session I may blend: Somatic Massage, Neuro Facial/Foot Reflexology (LI/Lung/endocrine uplift), focused ear acupuncture (Lung/LI/Endocrine), EFT for motivation & boundaries.
You leave with: one tiny, doable action that matches your yes.

Let’s choose intuitively—together. I work intuitively to engineer space in your system. Often the right modality is the one your belly says yes to. If you’re unsure, we’ll listen to your body in the first minutes and choose YIN, YANG, or a blend.

Fast reset? A 30-minute auricular (ear) acupuncture session is a reliable “empty-out”; ear beads can keep the benefit between visits.

Your 2026 self-care rhythm (not habits)

Rhythm = repeatable kindness, not rules.
Daily: notice one response, then choose a YIN or YANG micro-move.
Monthly: a YIN → YANG blend (land first, then lift) keeps change gentle and sustainable.

Prefer guidance? My 4-Week Energy–Emotional Reset Programme sets this rhythm into daily life (AM/PM prompts, micro-practices, ear-point support). Online or hybrid.
